Hunger strikes all of sudden. Made super sweet milo and ate with crackers put bovril. Added Enmum…What a change, tummy ache, then ‘hong’ and now eating sweet stuff…Water still taste bitter with glucose.. Like papa’s symptoms and habits?? I think choc chip taste so good….

Today I woke up, thanking God for His wonderful New Year gift. As I was doing my QT and praying for esther and her womb. I just realised that it was Friday and 5th of Jan, that we confirmed the pregnancy. 5 and 5, that’s double Grace! Well not trying to be superficial or anything, but there’re significants in numbers and many evidences in the bible shows that. So I started to claim, a double portion blessing, since we have always wanted a twins, a non-identical. I didn’t tell Esther about it yet.

We had a 0930 appointment with Dr. to for our first consultation and scanning. What a experience, I mean it was our first experience..so we didn’t really know what to prepare. So we just prayed. When we arrive and Dr. try to scan for the first time, it seems that Esther’s bladder was not full enough, so Dr. asked her to drink water until she feel like going to the toilet…hahaha. Ok, so she drink and drink…finally, we can start to scan.

“Look, that’s the womb, the sac is here…eh, looks like there’re 2 sac”, said the Dr. “2 sac??” - I dun even know what’s that. “Possible twins” he said. “Praise the Lord!” Esther said my expression was so funny when I heard that. I was happy. Even the Dr. said it’s still too early to confirm the second sac, so he put a “?” on it. Anyway, we told the Dr. we are clamining it, and praying for twins.

The Double portion of His blessing.

A sister gave us a pregnancy tester as a Christmas present. We were smiling and laughing as we read her note, telling us how she went and bought this one for us. On 2 Jan, Tues…Esther decided to just use that gift. Few minutes later, Esther came out from the toilet and showed me. “Hmm…there’re 2 lines, but it seems a bit faded -wor?” she said. “Praise the Lord!” Well, we decided to just claim the pregnancy test to be positive, even though we also said we should go to our friendly clinic to get a more confirmed test.

So it’s today 5 Jan, friday. We took our lunch break off and visit our friendly clinic. It was noon time, and the queue was kinda long. We waited and waited… Finally, Doc ask her for urine sample..and so she did. Both of us was anxious, perhaps I was more, cos she kept telling me “Eh why your hand so cold??”. Trying to act cool, I said “It’s the aircon -la” …kekeke.

Few minutes later, Doc called her in…and then she signalled me to come in. “It’s confirmed positive, Congratulation”, Doc said. “Wow! Amen!” I was still kinda amazed and so happy. She was very happy as well….just look at her expression.

Many may say getting pregnant/baby is easy. Well, I always believe it’s a blessing and truly gift from God. We recieved this blessing and God gets all the Glory.

5 Jan, starts a new chapter in both our life….. God is so good!Amen!
